2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying Group B: Morocco vs Gabon Prediction

PREDICTION

Morocco became the first African team to reach the semi-finals of a FIFA World Cup when they defeated the likes of Belgium, Portugal and Spain on their way to making the final four in Qatar in 2022. The Moroccans’ squad, at least on paper, has improved since then if anything and, having qualified for the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations as hosts, Walid Regragui’s task will be to mould a winning side. Gabon have a solid setup with some pedigree throughout their eleven, which is expected to be a back three, but they are missing key attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese may frustrate the Moroccans for a while but a home win is still to be expected.
