PREDICTION

South Africa have improved and are continuing to improve as they move into an international cycle in which they will be seeking 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualification followed by 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification. The return of Burnley forward Lyle Foster is also a massive boost for Bafana Bafana in attack. They now face a Ugandan side that are quite conservative and that has made them difficult to play against so they will believe they have a real chance of pushing through Group K of AFCON qualification. That said, South Africa remain favourites, albeit it is likely to be a narrow, low-scoring victory.
