PREDICTION
We have a London derby on the opening weekend of the season as Crystal Palace travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford this weekend. Brentford have endured a difficult year or so in terms of injuries and suspension and there is still uncertainty over the future of England international Ivan Toney. Crystal Palace also have a bit of uncertainty, too, with rumours persisting about the departures of Joachim Andersen, Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze and even Adam Wharton. However, for now and as we head into the opening weekend, Palace have a generally settled and fit eleven that finished in the top-half last season and they look a good value bet for the opening day.
