PREDICTION
We have a real clash of styles on the opening day of the season at Goodison Park this weekend as Sean Dyche’s Everton take on Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton and Hove Albion. The Toffees have been having to deal with off-field issues throughout the Dyche era but have impressively avoided the drop in both of the seasons in which he has been in charge. Hurzeler, at 31, has become the first permanent manager of a Premier League club after gaining promotion to the top-flight of German football with St Pauli last season. Hurzeler will look to implement a fairly complex and sophisticated style of football so that make some time, whilst Everton have been determined and dogged under Dyche so it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter.
