Former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot took charge of his first game in charge of Liverpool last weekend away at newly-promoted Ipswich Town at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys were the better side for much of the first-half but then goals from Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah in a much-improved second-half performance was enough for victory for the Reds. Brentford managed to overcome Crystal Palace with a 2-1 victory in a London derby at the Gtech Community Stadium and they will  set up to frustrate their hosts but Liverpool should still overcome their opposition, especially at Anfield.
