PREDICTION

Ange Postecoglou has himself said that the second season of his time at clubs is often when he ‘usually wins things’ but Tottenham Hotspur couldn’t win their opening game of this season. Dominating against newly-promoted Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, Spurs wasted possession and chances before 37-year-old Jamie Vardy equalised in the second-half. Everton, though, are in a worse state after their 3-0 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion and Goodison Park. Sean Dyche will remain confident that his negative and defensive low block will frustrate Spurs, as that tactic often has, so a low-scoring encounter remains a good bet.
