PREDICTION

The likelihood is that we get a bit of a walkover here. Didier Deschamps’ France have hardly been convincing but, as the French do, they have collected four points without conceding in tough fixtures against Austria and the Netherlands. Now they have the opportunity to win Group D and head into the softer side of the knockout stage draw, avoiding Germany, Spain and Portugal with Kylian Mbappe reportedly set to return. Poland, on the other hand, became the first team to be eliminated from the tournament after their 3-1 defeat to Austria in Berlin on Friday. There haven’t been many hammerings in this tournament but France may well provide us with one on Tuesday.
