After kicking off UEFA EURO 2024 with a 5-1 demolition of Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany then defeated Hungary by two goals to nil before needing a second-half stoppage-time equaliser against Switzerland to send them through as winners of Group A. Julian Nagelsmann’s side have looked very impressive but, apart from moments against the Swiss, defensively unchallenged. Denmark drew all three of their group games against Slovenia, England and Serbia. The Danes will look to be as stubborn as ever against Germany this weekend but the UEFA EURO 2020 semi-finalists are significant underdogs against the Germans in this Round of 16 and a comfortable Mannschaft victory is to be expected.
