Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands are playing a more progressive and entertaining style of football than one would expect a Koeman team to play. Oranje were forced to come from behind to defeat Poland in Hamburg on Sunday but they were the deserving victors, despite being quite profligate in that game. France will be without star man and captain Kylian Mbappe for this one due to his broken nose that he suffered in their 1-0 defeat of Austria in their opening game. Les Bleus will likely be even more pragmatic and reactive than they so often are in tournaments with either Olivier Giroud or Randal Kolo Muani taking his place. As a result, it may not be a thriller for the neutral and a low-scoring encounter with fewer than two or three goals is to be expected.
