This has the potential to be a really tedious stalemate for the neutral. Both evenly matched having finished level on points in their qualifying group, Slovenia will play a fairly rigid 4-4-2 with emphasis on both boxes as they have one of the world’s best goalkeepers as their captain, Jan Oblak, and one of Europe’s most in-form strikers, Benjamim Sesko. Denmark reached the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2020 but have been really underwhelming ever since and Kasper Hjulmand has kept a familiar look to their eleven, albeit with the introduction of a ‘proper striker’ in Rasmus Hojlund – it is yet to be really determined just how good the Manchester United forward truly is, though.
