PREDICTION

Switzerland have a glorious opportunity of going deep into this competition. They conceded a late equaliser against Germany last week and that actually ended up putting them on to the so-called ‘easier’ side of the draw. They face an Italian side that have been unconvincing throughout the tournament and pretty much ever since the appointment of the impressive Luciano Spalletti. Mattia Zaccagni’s last kick of the game equaliser against Croatia actually proved to be the goal that sent the Azzurri through with results that followed showing they would have been eliminated. It would be a surprise to see the defending champions eliminated but there is value in a double chance bet that backs Switzerland.
