A goalless draw between Slovakia and Romania in the other game in this group is guaranteed to send both of those sides through and that is something that both Ukraine and Belgium will be acutely aware of. Serhiy Rebrov’s side have shown that they often play better against sides that come onto them, like against England and Italy in qualifying, so that may suit them with Belgium likely to be on the front foot. Belgium have played well in both of their games so far but their shock 1-0 defeat to Slovakia in their opener leaves them in this perilous position.
